Teaching

Over his 20+ year career, Prof. Frankel has taught classes in undergraduate thermodynamics and graduate numerical methods, fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, combustion, and turbulence.  Check back to this page in the future for more up to date information but for now you can check out this link.  This Fall Prof. Frankel will be teaching his first-year graduate class in Computational Fluid Dynamics focused on basics of finite-difference and finite-volume methods for solving model PDEs through Navier-Stokes equations.  Students will learn to program using modern Fortran and Python.  Check back soon for webpage link and more details.
